Here we have for sale my personal Elise S2 Sport 190 owned for 4 years.
The Sport 190 was a skunkworks project by Lotus motorsport and the only S2 car to get the VHPD Rover Engine this time built by Scholar rather than the Lotus built S1 variant so much more resilient!
The 190s being a Motorsport car were completely customisable at the point of order so no two cars are exactly the same. This car was originally ordered by Bobby Bell from Bell and Colvill and was actually competed during the first two years of it’s life. I have some pictures of it being raced at Brands Hatch by the man himself. It was also used in their print advertising at the time copies of which I also have. Luckily it has enjoyed garage queen status since 2 years old and it yet to breach 10000 miles.
So the standard spec:
VHPD Engine
4 Pot front brakes
Dynamics dampers (replaced now with Ohlins)
Race Petty bar (not currently fitted but is with the car
Fire extinguisher and electrical cutoffs
OZ Wheels
Factory hardtop and soft top
In addition in my ownership I have added or updated the following

Full suspension refresh in the original spec of yellow zinc passivate
New Ohlins (covered very little mileage they are done to road specs)

Refinished interior with S2 Exige probax seats/centre tunnel and doorcards in nappa leather and race tex
Steering wheel recovered to match
Motosport gear cables
Emerald ECU (original retained)
I also by negotiation have a big bore manifold that I was advised to fit by Dave Walker when he mapped it but have never had chance to fit!
Loads of history
I have bought the car and fallen into the trap of not really using it having only done about 400 miles in it in the 4 years I have owned it!
