Additional Info
Offered for a short time as a factory option over the standard Tourer or Racetech the Sport 135 has uprated inlet and head modifications giving a handy uplift in power and torque. Mated to the short ratio gearbox and with very conservative estimates from Lotus on the actual power outputs the result is something similar to the 111S pace but with a more simple engine not having the VVC mechanism.
This particular example has been exceptionally well cared for and having covered only 24500 miles is in very good order throughout. For a car with this low mileage the service history is truly superb having been serviced almost every year regardless of mileage by a mix of Lotus main dealers and specialists.
The most recent service done by respected specialist Qmech was pretty extensive and covered a cambelt or “C” service, new Momo steering wheel and a full set of Avon ZZR Tyres. All other consumables are in superb order. The drive and feel of the steering and suspension as you would expect with a car of this mileage is sublime. The bodywork is also in very good order having been garaged through its life and suffering no blistering/bubbling as a result.
The car is standard with the exception of a Larini rear silencer (since sound!) and carbon air intake.
So in summary we have a fantastic example of a very rare K series car in a very sought after colour. Low mileage examples like this are becoming incredibly sought after with sub 30k cars getting very seldom seen now.
