Here we have another fantastic VX220 2.2 NA in Calyspo Red with the super low mileage of only 19800!
Cars like this are getting ever harder to find and are amongst the rarest of any S2 Lotus Elise based cars now.

The car has been kept garaged when not in use so has no paint blisters or bubbles. The car is standard with the exception of a VSE backbox (not the loud version) and K&N Induction kit. Service history for a car of this mileage is very good with 7 stamps in the book.
Since coming into us we decided to give it a bit of an overhaul. It was good but to make it great we did the following:

Replaced Radiator/coolant
Replace all spring collars on dampers
Full Service
Replace brake discs/pads/fluid
New side engine mounts
Replace coolant expansion tank
Full detail

As you would expect of a car with this mileage it drives fantastically. No startup rattle and the engine is making very good power with a good amount of torque and no flat spot which can be common on the 2.2.
Most importantly – Toasty heater!

The standard 2.2 is in our opinion the best riding car Lotus ever made. As ever with low mileage examples like this theres always the chance this could be the last opportunity to bag such a good low mileage example.
With the work we have carried out just to fully freshen the car up we can be confident this is the best 2.2 VX220 currently on the market.
