Lotus Elise S Sport 190 15000 miles Guide price £50000-£55000

A Fine example here of one of the very rarest Lotus Motorsport cars. The Elise Sport 190. This particular car is confirmed by Lotus archives to be one of only ten cars originally produced for race use and originating as a Sport 190 from the factory not a post purchase converted car. Total production numbers including post manufacture conversion are said to be around 48 with 25 of those cars having been exported to the USA. Around 7 Road converted cars are said to have ever been available in the UK. This car has been in the same ownership since 1998 and benefits from a Minster blueprinted Engine upping power to 215 BHP and not having the worry of the original PTP produced VHPD! The car has had a suspension refresh and sits on Nitron 46 Race Pro Dampers. A real finishing touch is the Magnesium wheels a vanishingly rare option.

Time Warp VX220 Turbo with just 780 Miles from new Guide price £30000-£35000

 

In preparation currently we have this absolutely unique VX220 Turbo with only 780 miles from new. It was put into storage in 2008 by it’s only owner and was never seen again until this year when we were lucky to be able to uncover it from its dry garage. We have put the car straight in for a full recommissioning service where it will have all fluids/cambelt/plugs etc replaced and we will also have a fresh MOT.

The car has never seen rain and remains in pristine condition with all wishbone plating still present. The interior is in perfect condition no exposure to UV light has ever taken place so the leather is supple the steering wheel leather is still soft which is very unusual on these cars. This example has to be the lowest mileage car outside of Vauxhalls own heritage collection. The lowest mileage car we have previously dealt with was a 2800 mile VXR220 Turbo.

Lotus Elise S2 Sport 190 9800 Miles £40000-£45000

Part of our MDs own personal collection this Elise Sport 190 is one of only 33 made my Lotus Motorsport – the only Series 2 car that was fitted with the VHPD K Series Engine. This particular car has a rich history having been purchased from new by none other than Mr Bell from Bell & Colvill the main Lotus agent. In its first couple of years of life the car was competed so was a fully fledged race car! We have a service reminder postcard originally produced by B&C featuring this very car being piloted around Donington Park by Mr Bell. The car was soon retired from race duties and has spent most of its life as a cosseted road car always stored inside. When we took ownership of the car it had a full suspension refresh and addition of a set of new Ohlins Dampers to replace the Dynamics race dampers which were very low and very stiff. The new setup is primarily road focussed. In addition a Quaife LSD was added plus a remote thermostat kit – S2 Exige Probax seats and the full interior was retrimmed. The car has had very limited summer only miles added in our 3.5 years of ownership. A race petty bar was removed from the car but is retained should you wish to go for the fully authentic race look. We believe there are around 15 of these cars remaining in the UK.

Outstanding Roger Becker Limited Edition Exige with edition number 48 this pristine example has one single discerning owner from new and has been kept in perfect dry conditions. One of the most perfect remaining examples of the S2 Exige.
