Here offered for sale is my personal 106 Rallye!
It took me years to wait to find a car of this standard having owned one previously that was nice/original I sold it when I lost my storage and regretted it. It then took 4 years to find another one. I have owned it since 2022 but not really used it much just a couple of local shows in the summer although its not been out this year due to having a knee injury it's not been a priority sadly.
The car has been fully nut and bolted everything that was available new has been bought new and it hasn't done much since. It's been fully stripped and rotisserie restored. The engine was rebuilt at the same time. It's been cavity sealed and has raptor underbody sealant thats all painted over so looks brand new. Fully repainted inside and out.
It's dry stored and has never seen any rain since it was done it must be amongst the cleanest and most perfect examples in the UK
It's got around 137k on the clock and it does I think have the original service book. It spent a long time off the road so there's limited historical service history.
In the years I have had this and my previous Rallye I have never seen one of this standard either for sale or at any shows.
Please understand that a halfway decent donor car for a project would be 10k these days and the money needed to achieve this level of car would be astronomical with today's labour rates you would probably be talking 20k upwards to get an engine rebuild and respray done plus all the brand new parts.
MOT was last done in summer 24 as mentioned I haven't had it out at all this year but can get it MOT'd. Not looking for lower offers its 18k firm. Private sale with no warranty implied or given.
