Here we have something very special indeed "The" Moonland Grey VXR220 yes it's 1/1 totally unique car. They made 65 VXRs and they are all red apart from one Yellow one, a Blue one and a black one that was stolen many years ago and this grey one.
The location of the other special ones is well known but the grey one had evaded public view for many years (last owner had it from 2007) it never appeared on the Facebook group or the owners club website then I bought it!
It had been off the road since 2020 so I had a full recommission service done with cam belt/plugs/all fluids oil/gearbox oil/coolant/brake fluid
I have had the front clam and side sills resprayed as they were totally original before and had accumulated a few chips
Its been stored indoors all the time so doesn't have any osmosis which is quite common on the VX220
The interior is in great shape with minimal bleaching to the red parts which is a very common VXR thing there is also no split in the plastic sill which is a general VX220 thing.
Fitted with R888 tyres with good remaining tread
Its been modified for fast road/track use so has the following
3 Way Nitrons
Stage 4 Tune (Courtenay) runs around 280BHP can be made to over 300BHP by fitting a 3" Exhaust
Miltek backbox
It doesn't have a huge amount of history as the owner from 2007 did mainly DIY maintenance. It had a couple of visits to Courtenay and I spoke them at length about the car before I bought it. I do have the original manual and service book.
